Our Mission

We are passionate about pocket pets and want to share our passion and knowledge with other pet owners, or even better pet guardians. Every writer on our small team has extensive experience keeping pocket pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, and degus.

We are based in Belgium so certain pocket pets might be more popular in our country than yours. Certain pet products might also be easier to obtain in Belgium (or Europe) than in other regions. For example, custom-made gerbilariums are more commonly available than in the US.

We love pets and want to give the best care possible to them. We don’t believe in keeping pocket pets in small enclosures and don’t advocate using products that are unsuitable for these pets.

The information on our website might differ from the information on other websites. We use quite high standards when it comes to pet care and we wouldn’t want anyone to keep a pet in an enclosure that is too small or an enclosure that doesn’t allow to create an environment more similar to the natural habitat.

Yes, you read that right. We prefer to create naturalistic habitats for our pets!
